Property appraisal survey to be mailed to commercial businesses and multi-family property owners

Commercial business and multi-family property owners will be mailed a survey soon from the Larimer County Assessor’s Office to help their office with the upcoming 2027 property appraisal process in Larimer County.

The deadline to return the survey is July 31, 2026. All information collected is kept confidential. 

County assessors are required to send out the survey since Colorado State law requires multi-family and commercial businesses to use the Income Approach to Value as part of the appraisal process. 

The Larimer County Assessor is hoping for a high survey turnback rate, especially from the business community, which is why the survey is being sent via U.S. Mail. 

This survey will be used for the next property appraisal in 2027 and help the Larimer County Assessor develop fair and equitable property values for commercial and multi-family property in Larimer County.
