Tobacco and Nicotine Information for Educators
The following training modules were created in partnership with the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment to raise awareness and understanding about the impacts of nicotine and tobacco use among adolescents and teens.
- Breathe Easy: For Educators - This training module is designed to equip educators with the tools to help students understand the impacts of tobacco and nicotine use on their health and the environment. This training includes an overview of the learning objectives for each grade and is aligned with Comprehensive Health Standards.
 
- Breathe Easy: High School - A 45-90 minute interactive presentation about tobacco and nicotine for high school students. The curriculum is designed to spark discussion and includes an overview of nicotine products, impacts of use, marketing tactics used to encourage use, and resources for quitting.
 
- Breathe Easy: Middle School - A 45-90 minute interactive presentation about tobacco and nicotine for middle school students. The curriculum is designed to spark discussion and includes an overview of nicotine products, impacts of use, marketing tactics used to encourage use, refusal skills, and resources for quitting.
 
- Breathe Easy: Elementary School - "Take Care of Your Body" is a 45-90 minute presentation for elementary school students and includes an age-appropriate overview of nicotine products, introduction of key terms, impacts of use, and classroom activity sheets.
