Larimer County's bridge posting program informs users about the safe load capacity of bridges that cannot support the maximum legal highway loads. The posted signs meet federal standards, and truckers should consult the map above and the posted table when planning routes based on their vehicle and load.
- The restricted bridge list is subject to change. Bridges may be replaced or rehabilitated, resulting in updated load limits, or existing bridges may be restricted due to deterioration or damage.
- Always use the most current version of this information. Larimer County cannot assume liability for users relying on outdated information.
- Weight limit signs at the bridges take precedence over the above table.
- If the 'Gross Load' field lists a value, the bridge is posted for that gross load.
- If 'Truck Type' fields are present, trucks exceeding the gross load may cross if their axle weight does not surpass the posted limits for Type II and Type III vehicles.
