Origin Healthcare makes getting the care you need easy — we come to you. Our expert medical team of nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians bring the equipment, testing and treatments to you, so you can stay safely and comfortably at home.

Our services include:

  • Acute Care: Avoid the ER and Urgent Care for medical issues that need prompt treatment. Examples include: Urinary tract infections, Dehydration, Fever, Cough. Visits can be in-person or over Telehealth.
  • Home Infusion Therapy: IV treatment for chronic medical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Inflammatory bowel disease, Autoimmune and certain types of cancer medications.
  • Hospitalist-at-Home: If you are sick enough to be require hospitalization but prefer to receive your care at home. Examples include: Infections needing IV antibiotics, asthma, and congestive heart failure exacerbations.

Available 7 days a week. No referral needed.

In home visits: 9 AM-5 PM

  1. Who is Origin Healthcare?

    We are a team of medical professionals (physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses) who have decades of experience caring for patients.

  2. What services does Origin Healthcare provide?
    • In home care to help patients avoid the need to go to the Hospital, ER, Urgent Care or infusion center. Patients can now receive that care in the safety and comfort of home.
    • Illness that we treat include: Pneumonia, Urinary tract infections, Respiratory illnesses, Heart Failure, Dehydration and more.
    • We provide in-home infusions for chronic conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Inflammatory Bowel disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis and others. We also can administer certain cancer medications, such as biologic infusions.
  3. Is it safe to receive hospital level care at home?

    Yes, this care has been extensively used around the world, and studies of this care model in the US demonstrate outstanding safety and quality results.

  4. What does home based hospital care from Origin Healthcare look like?
    • We send a nurse/nurse practitioner to your home. Our physicians are involved via telehealth video calls for these visits.
    • The team performs an examination and may recommend testing such as labs and radiology studies if indicated.
    • Some labs will be performed in the home, others may require us to take a sample to the laboratory for results.
    • We have partnered with mobile radiology teams to provide in-house x-ray, ultrasounds, EKGs, and Echocardiograms so you don’t need to leave your home for testing.
    • We will initiate necessary treatments. This may include:
      • IV medications, including IV antibiotics
      • IV fluids
      • Respiratory treatments, wound care
    • We provide you with technology including a watch that obtains your vital signs and an electronic table for you to communicate with Origin Healthcare.
    • Our medical team will be in your home at least once a day and you will have additional telehealth visits from our physician daily if you are on our Hospitalist-at-Home service.

    We are available 24 hours a day to respond to any questions or concerns you may have.

  5. What are the other benefits of receiving care at home?
    • We know that many factors impact your health, so we also perform evaluations to ensure that you have access and support to obtain food, transportation, and assistance with any other environmental challenges you may be encountering.
    • We ensure your family and caregivers are involved in your care by inviting them to be present during our visits, including providing them with the link to your physician video visits.
    • You can remain surrounded by your loved ones and your pets while you are healing.
  6. How do I access your service?
    • We are available for home visits between 9am - 5pm.
    • Our Virtual Care (telehealth) services are available 9am - 8pm.
