Written Corrective Action
Written Corrective Action can take place via a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), Supervisory Guidance, or Corrective Action. The Written Corrective Action Template is available by contacting your Human Resource Generalist.
Adverse Action
An adverse action may be taken when the action by the employee is serious, severe or egregious in nature. An adverse action is any action that may result in suspension without pay, demotion or dismissal of the employee. Please contact and work with your HR Generalist if you feel this sort of action may be warranted.

If you’d like to learn more about effective discipline we would recommend attending Supervisor Essentials (3-day Human Resource Training on supervising), meeting with your HR Generalist, or attending the Effective Discipline course. You can sign up for courses in the Larimer County Learning Center.
