The goal and purpose of the Leadership Development Program is to create an inclusive, adaptable, and collaborative work environment by providing common language, experiences, expectations, tools, and resources for leaders. Although everyone is a leader in their own capacity, this program is targeted towards those who supervise or have direct reports, and those interested in becoming supervisors. If you are interested in participating, please discuss the time requirements with your supervisor and get their approval, then reach out to Christine Kuehnast or Nicole Berg to learn more about the next available session.
Human Resources is committed to creating an inclusive, adaptable, and collaborative work environment with high retention (lower turnover) and high employee engagement by developing leaders who are courageous, self-aware, inclusive, empathetic, accountable, strong communicators, team builders, and problem solvers.
The Leadership Development program is a three-level sequential program: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Employees need to complete each level before advancing to the next level. Employees do not have to advance to the next level after completing a level, or complete all levels.
This program is open to all County employees who have at least 1 direct report, or are looking to grow so they may become a leader in the future.
Prerequisite Requirement: Complete Supervisor Essentials within the last three years.
