I am excited to help support families when they most need the help. I’ve worked in the field of human services for over 30 years and have raised a family in this community.  I feel a sense of connection to this community and  the continued efforts in serving families.

Mary Maldonado | Community Navigator

Hello, my name is Mary Maldonado and I have lived in Fort Collins for 41 years. I have four adult children and eight grandchildren, two of which I am raising. I am bilingual Spanish speaking and I love helping people in my community. Living in Fort Collins all these years, I have learned about the agencies that help community members, and I am excited to help others navigate these agencies as well. 

Tomas Quinonez | Community Navigator

I was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and my first language is Spanish. I have worked with families for the last 17 years helping them find resources and overcome obstacles. I'm excited to work on this project.

Rod Jubair | Community Navigator

My name is Rod and I was born in Hit City, Iraq. I speak Arabic and English. I have been working with families for over 10 years during my involvement in Doctors without Borders, UNESCO, UNICEF, and IOM. I’m very passionate about helping families and providing them with the right resources. I’m happy to be part of this awesome initiative to help and connect with families in our beautiful county.

Elise Dahlin | Community Navigator

Hi my name is Elise and I am excited to be able to work alongside families in the community! My background is in Early Childhood/ Early Intervention and I have enjoyed getting to work with and know families in Larimer County over the last ten years. I enjoy helping families to connect to people and places that add benefit to their family dynamic.

I have lived in Fort Collins since 2016, and I love the thriving community of Larimer County! I am passionate about nonprofit work, helping others with advocacy, and cannot wait to be a part of this project connecting families to build a stronger community.

I’ve lived in Larimer County for 26 years and have been with the School of Social Work at Colorado State University since 2004. My professional interest is in strengthening families through applied research and evaluation.

Milena Casamassima | Research Associate, CSU Social Work Research Center

I have lived in Larimer County for 3 years and am so excited to be working as a part of the evaluation team for this initiative. I have a background working with teenagers and families here in the community as well as doing research. I am really passionate about teamwork and collaboration, and I am thrilled to be working with this great group to better serve all of the families who share this community with us.

Hi, my name is Katie and I am thrilled to be working alongside families and service providers in Larimer County. I’ve worked in research and evaluation for 8 years in Colorado, and I am passionate about community-based research and programs, promoting inclusion and equity in education and service provision, and macro social work. I’m so glad to be a member of this inspiring team working to support a stronger Larimer community.

I am new to social work, and I am amazed the by the scope and ambition of this project in addition to the discipline and effort that has gone into it. I bring experience in data analysis, statistics, and programming applied to a variety of subject areas, and I'm excited to introduce these tools to help connect families and communities.
