The Social Work Research Center at Colorado State University has partnered with the Larimer County Department of Human Services to evaluate the Supported Families, Stronger Community (SFSC) Project.

Supported Families, Stronger Community (SFSC) is a 5 -year grant funded by the Administration on Children, Youth and Families and was awarded to the Larimer County Department of Human Services in 2019. The first year was a planning year and years 2-5 are implementation of the direct work.

The Burial Assistance Program provides payments to providers for burial and cremation services of low-income residents. Burial benefits are used to cover reasonable and necessary costs for burial services. The burial benefit is up to $1,500, depending on the decedent’s resources at time of death and total cost of all funeral, cremation and/or burial services.
