Vehicle Licensing Services Restored

The statewide outage affecting motor vehicle services has been resolved. In person and phone services are available once again.

A partnership with the Larimer County Clerk & Recorder’s Office and Scouting America Troop 97 has developed an honorable way for community members to retire worn or damaged U.S. flags.

A successful passport application requires specific documents and a separate payment to the US Department of State. To ensure a successful passport application appointment, please read the important details below to ensure you arrive with the required documents and payment methods. 

Easy Access provides several ways to search recorded documents. Our documents are indexed and can be searched by name, legal description or document type.

Reception numbers or book and page numbers are necessary to locate documents recorded prior to 1971, or can be used to search for specific documents if you already have that information. Grantor/grantee index books are located in our office at 200 W Oak Street, Fort Collins, if a search by name is required for documents or marriage licenses recorded prior to 1971.

E-Services Down For Planned Maintenance 2/21 - 2/22

Payment-based e-services will be down statewide for system maintenance from 8:00 p.m. Friday February 21st to 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 22nd.

The Colorado County Clerks Association offers three scholarships to Larimer County high school seniors who plan to continue their education.

Loveland Office Network Maintenance 1/2/25

Scheduled network maintenance will occur at the Loveland Vehicle Licensing Office on the morning of Thursday, 1/2/25. Please plan your visit to our office after 9:00 a.m., as appointments and walk-in services may not be available.

The license plates listed in the table below can be acquired by any Larimer County resident to register their vehicle without any additional requirements. A full list of all available license plates can be found on the Department of Revenue website.

Note: The fees listed below are in addition to registration and material fees.

Notice of Logic and Accuracy Testing

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes 1-7-509, the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder Elections Department will conduct a public logic and accuracy test of voting equipment on October 8, 2024. For specific information regarding the time and place of this test, please contact the Larimer County Elections office at 970-498-7820.
