Introducing... Recording Activity Notification
The Recording Activity Notification Service allows community members to create an alert and receive an email notification if a document is recorded in their name. This service is provided by the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder at no charge.

Can I do this?
- This service is for Colorado dealerships only
- Must be the owner or agent of the dealership with a letter of authorization
- Driver’s License or other Secure and Verifiable Identification (SVID)
- Must be processing a Dealer Resale Title or a duplicate title for a vehicle traded into the dealership
- Payment (separate payment is required for each transac
What do I need?
- Once the required paperwork is complete, you have the following options:

- By Phone
- In-person

- Proof of Colorado Insurance, if indicated on your renewal notice
- Proof of Emissions, if indicated on your renewal notice
- Payment - additional fees apply for credit/debit card payments

- If the owner is a business, the agent acting on behalf of the business must provide a letter of authorization
- If the owner is an individual who will not be present at the appointment, the acting agent must have a valid power of attorney
- Driver’s License or other
