What do I need?

  • Must be listed as the owner or an agent of the owner
    • If the purchaser is a business, the agent acting on behalf of the business must provide a letter of authorization
    • If the purchaser is an individual who will not be present at the appointment, the acting agent must have a valid power of attorney
  • The title from the previous owner or paperwork from the manufa
Logic and Accuracy Test

The Larimer County Clerk and Recorder Elections Department will conduct a public logic and accuracy test of voting equipment on October 10, 2023. Please view the Legal Notice and contact our office for more information: (970) 498-7820.
Estes Park Vehicle Licensing Office Closed

Due to inclement weather conditions, the Estes Park Vehicle Licensing Office is currently closed. The Fort Collins and Loveland offices are still open and are accepting walk-in and scheduled appointments. 
IN PERSON TRANSACTIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

To maintain our appointment schedule, there is a 2 transactions limit per time slot. If you have more than 2 transactions, please make additional appointments.

 

Appointments are now available for Colorado car dealerships for Dealer Resale and Duplicate Title transactions only, with a limit of 2 transactions at each appointment.  All other transactions will be required to be dropped off.

 
Self-service Kiosks Scheduled Maintenance

All Colorado MV Express Renewal Kiosks in Larimer County will be down for scheduled maintenance from 8 to 10 A.M. on Sunday November 12th.
