Access to Unemployment Insurance (UI) Office

Need help connecting with the State of Colorado Unemployment Insurance Office?

Call us, and we’ll get you into the phone queue to speak directly with a live Unemployment Insurance (UI) agent, not a bot! Wait times to reach a UI representative can vary based on their call volume. 

 

If our office is handling a high number of requests, we may place you on a short call list. Don’t worry, we’ll call you back and connect you to UI as soon as possible.


You can be added to the UI phone queue Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (excluding holidays).
 
About Unemployment Benefits
Unemployment benefits are state-administered through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE). LCEWD does not have access to your UI account, but can explain the process for filing UI claims and answer general UI questions.

My Career Compass

My Career Compass is a no-cost, online self-directed platform that encompasses job search preparation, a resume builder and job search information. You will be asked to complete a short registration to create an account with My Career Compass.   Case managers are available to all users upon request.

Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program

The RESEA program is designed to assist individuals receiving unemployment insurance (UI) benefits. The funds are used to connect participants with reemployment services through local Workforce Centers.

If you have received a letter and/or  email with the following heading:  MANDATORY REEMPLOYMENT SERVICES AND ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT,  it is  legitimate and requires action by you to schedule and attend an appointment with our office so  you don't experience any interruption in your Unemployment benefits.
