Increased fire restrictions are currently in effect for unincorporated Larimer County until 11:59 p.m., July 21, 2026.
- NO contained or uncontained open flames, including any fire, campfire, grill, stove, or smoker using wood, wood byproducts, or charcoal
- NO Smoking in the open, including on trails, parks, and open spaces, and no fireworks and incendiary devices
- Gas or liquid fueled fires, including grills and camping stoves are allowed

- Eagle & North Pines Campgrounds: 30 day maximum booking window
- Big Thompson Campground: The campground is transitioning into day-use parking, but is open to the public 7 days a week
- South Bay & Inlet Bay Campground: During active construction there will be limited parking and single-lane access.

Larimer County Natural Resources has over 400 campsites in a variety of beautiful locations in northern Colorado. Our campsites vary from electric and full-hookup sites for your RV to walk-in and standard sites perfect for tent camping.

Please keep in mind that our campgrounds fill spring, summer and fall weekends, so plan ahead – or come during the week! We hope you have a wonderful camping trip in Larimer County!
