Share Your Feedback: Special Events Land Use Code Update
Over the past several years, Larimer County has experienced an increase in the number, variety, and locations of special events. These proposed updates are intended to ensure that events continue to be conducted in a manner that is safe for applicants, participants, spectators, volunteers, neighboring property owners, and the community as a whole.
Please submit your comments and/or feedback by August 23, 2026.
Special Events Code Update: Postponed
The Larimer County Land Use Code update regarding Special Events (Article 7.0) is being tabled to a date uncertain.
- September 16 Planning Commission Hearing: This meeting will proceed with its other agenda items, but the Special Events item will be formally tabled without discussion.
- September 28 Land Use Hearing: The Board will convene at 6:30 p.m. only to officially table this item and adjourn.
Because no public testimony, presentations, or discussion on the Special Events update will happen at either hearing, community members are advised not to attend for this item. New hearing dates will be posted here once rescheduled.
