2025 Tax Roll in Progress

We are currently processing the new tax roll, which means that some online services including the Property Tax Calculator and Certificate of Taxes Due ordering are disabled while the new data is uploaded.  Most services will be back online by Tuesday, January 6.  Thanks for your patience as we get set for the new year.

Monthly Payments through EscrowTaxes

The Larimer County Treasurer's Office has registered with EscrowTaxes by Autoagent to provide an option for automated monthly payments of property taxes.  This service is available for any Larimer County property that does not have taxes escrowed through a mortgage.  Please click the link above for more information or visit EscrowTaxes.com to enroll.

Roles and Responsibilities

The County Treasurer is responsible for mailing Property Tax Statements to the owner of record, collecting property taxes, and disbursing taxes to the taxing authorities (school districts, cities/towns, the county, special districts, etc.). The Treasurer does NOT determine the amount of tax to be collected. For more information on the value of your property or the amount of the taxes collected, please contact the Larimer County Assessor’s Office.

The Public Trustee performs public service duties as prescribed in Title 38 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. These duties include processing documents pertaining to Foreclosures of Deeds of Trust and Release of Deeds of Trust.
