All Larimer County Offices, Courts, District Attorney, and Ranch offices are closed on July 3, 2026 to celebrate the Independence Day holiday.

The Larimer County Landfill will be open July 3rd and closed on July 4th.

LCSO Administrative Offices will be closed on July 1 from 10am - 5 pm.


Critical county services are not disrupted by closures.

2025 Delinquent Property Taxes

Delinquent property tax statements for manufactured homes were mailed on June 18, 2026, and all other delinquent statements will be mailed the first week of July.  Current amounts due can be viewed and paid securely online through our property tax calculator at the link above.

Monthly Payments through EquaPay (formerly EscrowTaxes)

The Larimer County Treasurer's Office has registered with EquaPay by Autoagent to provide an option for automated monthly payments of property taxes.  This service is available for any Larimer County property that does not have taxes escrowed through a mortgage. Roles and Responsibilities

The County Treasurer is responsible for mailing Property Tax Statements to the owner of record, collecting property taxes, and disbursing taxes to the taxing authorities (school districts, cities/towns, the county, special districts, etc.). The Treasurer does NOT determine the amount of tax to be collected. For more information on the value of your property or the amount of the taxes collected, please contact the Larimer County Assessor’s Office.
 
The Public Trustee performs public service duties as prescribed in Title 38 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. These duties include processing documents pertaining to Foreclosures of Deeds of Trust and Release of Deeds of Trust.

Property Tax Due Dates*

FIRST HALF: February 28, 2026 and SECOND HALF: June 15, 2026 or
FULL PAYMENT: April 30, 2026
*If due date falls on a non-business day, the deadline will be extended to the next business day.
 
Property Taxes become due on January 1 for the previous year. Payments may be paid in two equal installments or in one full installment; partial payments are not accepted.
