About Us

Larimer County Human Services provides services and support to keep vulnerable citizens safe and self-sufficient through Adult Protective Services, the Larimer County Office on Aging and Options for Long Term Care.  Vulnerable citizens include adults over the age of 60 or people with disabilities.  Family members and caregivers may also benefit from these services and referrals to community resources.

2023 Resource Connections for Seniors & Caregivers

Held on April 26, 2023

The 2023 Resource Connections for Seniors & Caregivers forum highlighted housing resources and more in Larimer County.  Panelists from the Loveland Housing Authority, Housing Catalyst, Neighbor to Neighbor, and Volunteers of America spoke on affordable housing options while speakers from North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization, Colorado Legal Services, and the Office on Aging shared other resources that support older adults and caregivers.

The Resource Connections for Seniors & Caregivers forum brought the aging population, their families, and caregivers together to help with navigating the abundance of resources available in Larimer County. A panel of experts provided a variety of practical resource solutions on Dementia, Housing, Transportation, Caregiving and Legal services. Featured Keynote Speaker, Cyndy Hunt Luzinski, Founder and Executive Director of Dementia Together.
