Level up your stewardship!

Set off on an exhilarating adventure with the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources Stewardship Quest!  Designed to engage kids in taking care of our open spaces, this board game-style activity encourages young nature enthusiasts to complete various environmental stewardship actions throughout the month. But this pursuit isn't limited to the young – nature lovers of all ages are invited to join in. Whether solo or with companions, players can embark on this quest for a exciting outdoor journey.

Here's how to get started:

The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is seeking public input for the management plan of Chimney Hollow Open Space. Public input will be collected throughout this summer via an online survey and at the first public open house on Wednesday, May 29 followed by a virtual open house on Monday, June 3.

Information collected from the community will help guide future management of the new open space by helping understand the public’s desired nature-based land and water recreation experiences at CHOS while protecting and enhancing ecological resources.
